Those who saw the National Geographic film, "In Search of the First Dog", saw us find and bring Pereh home as a tiny
puppy from a very remote Bedouin camp near Massada. He has grown up to be a fine young Canaan, of excellent type and
with a very strong temperament. He is very sure of himself and is always ready to take charge; from the time he was
a small puppy, he has been trying to insist to the adult dogs that he is the boss. They didn't really accept this, but
it resulted in his pet name of "Monster".
Monster has sired several litters this year, and his puppies so far look really super in type and have a strong and postivie
temperament. We feel that this new bloodline will contribute a great deal to the breed.
